The Bank has organized an interactive session with the students of Nizam college and Begumpet Women’s Degree college on 24.06.2025 as part of the Cooperative Internship programme and explained about the history of Cooperative Credit Structure in the state as well as various initiatives taken by the Bank. The programme was held in coordination with the Department of Cooperation and TSCU. As a token of remembrance of the event and as a souvenir, the Bank has distributed backpack bags and badges containing IYC logo to the participants.
United Nations General Assembly has adopted a resolution declaring 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives with the theme “Cooperatives Build a Better World”. As part of the IYC, TGCAB conducted 5K Walkathon on 22.06.2025 (Sunday). Sri Marneni Ravindar Rao, President; Sri Kothakurma Sathaiah, Vice President; Sri Yadla Krishna Rao, Managing Director; Smt. T. Jyothi, Chief General Manager and the General Managers of TGCAB inaugurated the 5 KM Walkathon organised under the initiatives for the International Year of Cooperatives (IYC), 2025. All the Bank staff participated in the event.
Officials from VAMNICOM have visited TGCAB on 18.06.2025 along with its students of 58th batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Cooperative Business Management (PGDCBM) 2024-25 for a study visit on the functioning of Cooperative Credit Structure in the State of Telangana and TGCAB.

Delegates from Gujarat State Cooperative Bank have visited TGCAB, as representatives of Cooperative Bank of India (COBI), and briefed about the purpose of COBI and International Year of Cooperatives 2025 (IYC-2025) celebrations on 12.06.2025. On this occasion, Sri Rizwan Sarabavula, Deputy General Manager, Gujarat State Cooperative Bank has distributed stickers containing IYC logo with our Bank name on it, for widespread use during celebrations commemorating IYC 2025.
Telangana State Formation Day celebrations were celebrated in a grand scale on 6th June 2025 with cultural events packed with Dhoom Dhaam. Sri Y. Krishna Rao, Managing Director has presided over the daylong event and distributed mementos to the Best Performing branches, winners in sports etc. Addressing the gathering, the MD has explained in detail about the progress made so far, vision and mission required for Bank’s growth encompassing Employee prosperity as well. On 2nd June 2025, Smt. T. Jyothi, CGM, hoisted the National flag at Head Office premises.

The event was organised by APRACA in coordination with Bank Indonesia
Sri Marneni Ravindar Rao, President, TGCAB and Sri Y. K. Rao, Managing Director attended the National Level Conference on Shared Services Entity and Cooperation among Cooperatives on 08.05.2025 at National Bank Staff College (NBSC), Lucknow.
Our Bank participated in the Nizamabad Rythu Mahotsavam/Kisan Mela held from 21st to 23rd April 2025, by setting up a dedicated bank stall aimed at promoting our wide range of agricultural and banking products & services. The stall was inaugurated by Sri Tummala Nageswara Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture & Cooperation, Government of Telangana, along with Dr. B. Gopi, I.A.S., Director of Agriculture. The Rythu Mahotsavam/Kisan Mela served as a platform to educate farmers about modern agricultural practices, showcase advanced farming equipment, high-yielding crop varieties, and improved livestock breeds. Our stall played a vital role in explaining banking services tailored to the needs of the farming community, including agri-loans, savings products, digital banking options, and financial literacy support.
Ambedkar Jayanthi was celebrated at 5th Floor, Head Office on 15th April 2025. Sri Sri M. Ravindar Rao, President and Sri Y. Krishna Rao, Managing Director paid tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and addressed the CEOs of DCCBs, Senior Officers and staff members of the Bank who have gathered in the event.
As part of IYC 2025 celebrations Sri Marneni Ravindar Rao, President, TGCAB and Sri Y. K. Rao, Managing Director launched the IYC 2025 logo on 07.04.2025 and advised all the departments to use the logo on letter head of the Bank as well as on the Bank’s social media handles.
During the Board and General Body Meeting of TGCAB on 27.03.2025, Sri Marneni Ravindar Rao, President, TGCAB and other Board of Directors of TGCAB finalised the appointment of Managing Director of TGCAB. Sri Yedla Krishna Rao, CGM (Retd.), NABARD was appointed as the new Managing Director of TGCAB and the dignitaries felicitated Dr. B. Gopi, IAS who had extended his services to the Bank.
Women’s Day celebrations were organised in the premises of the Bank on 15.03.2025 where the management has felicitated some of the inspiring Women entrepreneurs. The day was filled with energy and joy, from a lively music band performance to fun filled games for our women employees, making it a truly memorable event. All the women employees have actively participated in the event.

Telangana State Cooperative Apex Bank Ltd. – Cooperative Training Institute (TGCAB-CTI) has been awarded First prize for the FY 2022-23 being adjudged as Best Performing Cooperative Training Institute at All India level.
