Prior to 1994 There were two training Institutions, viz., Agriculture Co-operative Staff Training Institute (ACSTI) for ST credit structure and Junior Level Staff Training Institute (JLTC) for LT credit structure, assisted by NCDC and NABARD respectively.
1994 Both training institutes so functioning, viz., ACSTI and JLTC were merged into one to form APCOB-CTI, consequent upon amalgamation of Apex banks of both the structures, as part of implementation of single window credit delivery system.
1996 APCOB-CTI, Campus was shifted from Narayana Guda to its newly constructed, lush green and spacious premises in “Integrated Training Complex” at Rajendra Nagar. It is equipped with state-of-the-art lecture halls, computer labs, and auditorium and hostel facilities.
2015 On formation of Telangana State in 2014 and consequent to bifurcation of State Co-operative Bank, the CTI was renamed as TSCAB-CTI from 01 April 2015 and has been catering exclusively to the training needs of co-operative credit structure in Telangana State.
TSCAB-CTI, has, as in the past, been imparting comprehensive and need based training to its clientele on various topics relating to both short term and long-term credit structures, encompassing the whole gamut of working of the three-tier co-operative credit structure in the State.
The Institute has emerged as a premier Training Institute in the Country for Human Resources Development in the 3-tier co-operative credit sector.
CTI is an ISO – 9001-2015 certified organization and is committed to comply with the requirement of international standards on quality management system.
CTI is accredited by the Centre for Professional Excellence in Co-operatives (C-PEC), BIRD, Lucknow, to promote professional excellence in co-operative credit structure.
TSCAB-CTI has been adjudged by National Federation of State Cooperative Banks (NAFSCOB) as the third best performing Institute at all India Level, continuously for 3 years, viz., 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20.
